Welcome to Mailtric! This guide will help you get up and running in just a few minutes so you can start understanding your Mail Metrics and improve your email deliverability.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, make sure you have:
- Mailtric installed and activated
- Admin access to your WordPress site
- A logo or brand image (optional but recommended)

Step 1: Basic Setup (2 minutes)
Access Plugin Settings
- Navigate to your WordPress admin dashboard
- Click on "Mailtric" in the sidebar
- Select "Settings" from the submenu
Configure Essential Settings
Set these basic options to get started:
- Template: Choose "Modern" for a clean, professional look
- Image Size: Keep default (1200x630px)
- Format: Select JPEG for smaller file sizes
- Quality: Set to 90 for best balance of quality and size
- Upload your logo (recommended size: 200x200px)
- Set primary color to match your brand
- Choose font that aligns with your brand style
Step 2: Create Your First Image (1 minute)
Option A: New Post
- Create a new post (Posts → Add New)
- Add a compelling title - this will appear on your image
- Write your content
- Click "Publish"
Option B: Existing Post
- Edit an existing post
- Update the title if needed
- Click "Update"
Email Logged!
Mailtric automatically logs your emails when they are sent. No additional steps required!
Step 3: Verify Your Image (30 seconds)
Check the Generated Image
- Go to Mailtric -> Email Logs
- View the logged emails
- Click "Regenerate" if you want to create a new version
Test on Social Media
The fastest way to test is using Facebook's debugger:
- Visit Facebook Sharing Debugger
- Paste your post URL
- Click "Debug"
- See your beautiful image in the preview!
